Delivery Tips - Get The Most From Our Courier

All items on Comfy Living are delivered FREE within mainland UK, most items on a Next Working Day service when paid for online before 3pm (Fridays 12 noon). This free delivery service does not provide time estimates which some customers find difficult to fit in around their daily schedule.
The couriers that we use are unable to give time slots or book AM or PM deliveries. Whilst we appreciate that waiting in all day may not be convenient, here’s further delivery services we can offer to try and fit in with the school run or working day:
Courier Special Instructions: You can add these to your order, or email us with your requests. Popular requests include:

  • Calling In Advance: to allow you to get to your property in time - 5 to 30 minutes is the usual timescale can be requested but cannot be guaranteed, requests for 1 hour before may not always be possible due to the logistical planning the couriers have with their postcode route
  • Leaving in a Safe Place: Nominating a neighbour, or asking for your futon or bed to be left in a garage, the back of a property, behind a side gate or in a porch or reception area can all be accommodated
  • School Run: Leave a note on the door nominating a safe place, a telephone number or other instructions are all good ideas when you have to leave for the school run or an appointment
      We are unable to provide any specific times for delivery other than 08:00 to 18:00 hours. Comfy Living act as an agent for couriers and so are not able to provide a contact number for a courier for public enquiries. The couriers cannot advise on any time slots to us or direct to our customers and your understanding is appreciated in this matter.
    A lot of queries we get when customers order futons, beds and mattresses online are to clarify delivery dates. When ordering from Comfy Living there is a calendar for you to book in your specified delivery date, and full delivery scedules are outlined on our Delivery page. For ease of reference, please see our handy guide to knowing when to expect your delivery:
    Quickest available delivery bookings:
    Pay before 3pm Monday, take delivery on Tuesday
    Pay before 3pm Tuesday, take delivery on Wednesday
    Pay before 3pm Wednesday, take delivery on Thursday
    Pay before 3pm Thursday, take delivery on Friday
    Pay before 12noon Friday, take delivery on Monday
    Pay after 12noon Friday/Weekend and before 1pm Monday, take delivery on Tuesday

    Due to the volume of orders and queries we aim to respond to all email queries within 24hrs (1 working day) we thank you for your patience. Currently we are returning telephone messages around a 48hour delay. We recommend you email us for a quicker answer to your query.
    Office hours are: 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday. Early closing on Fridays 09:00am to 2:00pm.
